  • Fred Maysonet

General Manager | Chaparral Distributing South, LLC

Fred Maysonet has recently accepted the position as a General Manager under JECo’s new territory in the Chaparral district. In his new role, Fred will lead a team of direct reports that include all District Managers and Key Accounts with his sales

experience and passion for teaching providing a tremendous asset for our management team that will ensure consistent results are delivered.

Since June 6th, 2006 Fred’s selfless commitment to the JECo companies have covered a wide span of responsibilities and markets that include Off-Premise Small and Large format, On-Premise and Key Accounts. Aside from his contagious positive attitude, his ability to master both English and his native language of Spanish has consistently opened doors to deliver growth opportunities previously closed.  Originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Fred arrived to the US at 11 years old without any knowledge of speaking the English language.  I suppose one could argue if he has really “learned” or “mastered” the English language 30 years later but nonetheless his relentless drive to “get it done” is what makes Fred a high value asset to our team.

Fred is recognized for his service with a Commendation Medal in the US Army as a combat medic during Operation Desert Shield.  Thank you Fred for your service to our country!  With old aspirations of one day running his own facility as a General Manager, Fred can now finally say that this dream has transitioned into reality.
